What size and kind hook are you using to beef up the lure with.I was thinking of trying a VMC 7650 no 1.Is this to much or just what I need.Thanks Dennis Blume

I use VMC 6x Gladiators on my 3" 3/4oz Rattlin' Shad and 100lb split rings!

I use #2 on the 3" Rattlin Shad and 2/0 on the 4" Rattlin Shads....
VMC of course!
