Thanks, That's a good idea, if you already have one, but I'm not spending 80$ for a rotisserie set up just for the motor. Gotta be a place to get Low RPM motors around somewhere. Anybody???

I have tried some cheap BBQ rotisserie motors and they didn't hold up, but that is not to say others won't. You can find some slow turning motors on the web from electrical suppliers or hobby suppliers. I got some from American Science and Surplus. Good luck.

One can also get slow turning motors from Grangers but they aren't cheap. To get everything I needed from the mototr to the pillow block bearings to roast a hog the first time I had 500.00 invested including the hog of coarse. Now if I do it again, and I will, it will only cost me the price of the hog or beef.

I paid $9 for my 5RPM motor. It is a MOT-5 for a 20-pound disco ball.

Tonight I will send a photo of my drying rack. It is very simple and a total cost of under $20 - $25. I keep changing how I attach my lures. I’m working on a new way to hold the lure.

How do you affix the square wooden shaft to the motor?

If you look at this photo all I do is drill a hole in the end for the shaft and add a bolt.
Very easy!!!!! The only thing is you need 4,8 or more lures on at a time or it can jerk on the blank spot with the Mot-5 Motor. It depends how heavy the lure is. I run 16 of my lures all the time. On the other end I simply use (2) eye screws and a swivel.
