Hallo.

My name is Gian Luca and I write from the Italy.

I have a problem, some Burt Squirrely, during the I recover, stretch out to run on a side, although I shave the opposite side of face that the lure is running.

I experienced also to move the front eyelet, but I did not obtain resultants.

It does I can do to resolve the problem?

Thanks for the replies.

you can take a flat file and file down the "lip" to the left or right side of the eyelet to get it to run a bit straighter....but keep in mind...I have caught some very nice fish on squirrely burts that do kick to one side or the other...kicking to one side or the other at the end of each pull is not a bad thing AT ALL..keep castin em...you'll get bit.....

I have also found that when they favor one side I look to see if the molding seam on the rubber tail and the molding seam on the plastic body are lined up. If they are not I cut the tail off and superglue it back on centered on the body. If it is not centered it can make the bait about like you described. Good Luck

In fact some of these not the aligned tail to the body and when I put them in water the tail leaned from the part in which subsequently the bait runs.

I experienced to heat to replace the aligned tail but is not simple; at any rate thought about a definitive solution intervening on the face or on the eyelet.

But I saw that also this is not simple.

Unfortunately I lose much work depth, and having some lure weighted, this is not well.

Thank you for all.

I have caught fish on all sorts of burts, hell they call me "Bert Ramsey".I do not think it matters much if they stray to one side or another, still seem to catch fish straight or to one side.Bill
