Well I just got my Fishing Hot spots map of Cave Run. Now who is going to mark it up with all the good spots? Looks like a lot of water can't wait til March. [:p]

Teck,

Bring it to the next MI meeting... I'll show where we didn't see fish and saw fish...Only 1 boated on last two day trip and she was a short one. I'm heading up to St. Cloud this month for the MI meeting the third week but I'll i'll stop at North Metro for a bit, and get your Iowa check.

On 2-3-02 last year, Tech received a map...not just any map, but a map that will undoubtedly change the way he fishes the Cave this year...and here we are today, one year and 236 pages later to revisit this landmark occasion w/ this celebratory post! While you're here, sign in and wish Tech another good time at the Cave....

Hey Teck

It's been a while since I saw that picture. That was fun! I see you have a new boat. I picked up a boat this fall too. I was wondering if I could return the favor this year. You have first dibs on a spot in my boat if you want.

Bruce, you staying at the south end or north, or commuting? If you happen to remember Muddobber and happen to see him, please have him post, or better yet, see if he plans on fishing again this year....

* Dobber is the dude on the far left behind Teck, off his right shoulder looking at the pic, which Teck posted the 5th post down....camo jacket/hat

The good news is the Army Corp is doing a great job at controlling our water level during this crazy winter. Even with all the rain and snow they have it below pool. Extremely cold temps have helped our fishing pressure and the muskies should be ready to put the feed bag on next month, as our shad will move up shallow.

Also, anyone wanting to come to the Outing early I have rooms available and will honor the reduced Muskiefirst Outing prices. David Christain still has open days that week for guiding, Dave in my mind is the BEST Spring guide on the lake bar none.
Looking forward to seeing all you guys again and meeting the new ones too.
And yes my KILLER Roadkill Stew will be served.
