What brands of creeper type baits are there out there? Might be looking at getting one. Any ideas? Thanks.

bs willy makes a great jnted creeper and you can get them at Rollie's or Smokey's.

I haven't caught a fish on mine yet, but I know I will this year.

Ryan jinkerson makes one of the sweetest creepers out there. I really love his straight creepers, but his jointeds are great too. Joel Wick without question makes the coolest jointed creeper around. You'll wait for lures from either dude, but definately worth it. The straights that Ryan makes, will really amaze you, and I've attached a couple pics of them. I heard Ty Sennets new creeptonite is also pretty cool and will need to check one out. Ev Kolsted makes one of my favorite smaller jointed creepers and his wings are very similar to the wings Frenchy used to use. They rocked in 05. Garrett tesch also makes a killer jointed creeper, and i thank him for his patience with me as I sent mine back several times to get it just to my liking. Well he sure did, and makes a fine lure!! Rick Jaroch of Baitmaker tackle is also crafting a nice jointed model, though I haven't had much time to use it yet.

If you want a production Creeper, the old hi finn straights are still a killer, as are their hawg buster jointeds.
If you can find an old lelure fetch and catch from the production years(or one that frenchy made), get it.

Ryan charges 30-40 for the creepers depending on the style and size. I think he has a few done, give him a call. (715) 213-2056

I, like Reefhawg, am a creeper fanatic. I have numerous different kinds. My favorite is Joel Wick's. Great fish catchers with the spreaders and most importantly great sound. Easy to tune as well. Here are a few of mine. Pretty beat up from use and these models shown here do nothing to show how fine his paint jobs are as well. I prefer boring black. Hope the picture comes out o.k.

Really like the Rylures too. Looking forward to fishing my new B.S. Willy's as well.

Anyone thrown Bitten Tackle's Shaker? Topwater, jointed with fins but at the head off the bait. Video they had of the bait looked great, slow moving like a Creeper but when retreived fast, looked like baby loon trying to scamper away!

I don't want to toot my own horn here but I make a full 9" creeper. This is from screw eye to screw eye. It can be worked alot faster than the traditional creeper. I also have the same style with a globe tail on it. I got sick of buying the small wings and brackets for high $ so I made a template of a larger wing and bracket, took it to the local metal shop and had 1000 pieces laser cut
I must say that out of all the lures I make the creepers have to be the most time and effort. I have many wrecked wings trying to get things to run right so my hat is off to all the creeper makers out there!!
