Posts: 2037 Location: lansing, il | im sure everyone had a situation this past year that really kicked thier butts, fishing wise, maybe it was weather, maybe it was follow after follow without a strike, maybe it was no follows at all on a day that you thought was a sure day to put fish in the boat yet you didnt see a thing... well after the fact now that its done with....what situation was it that really stumped ya, and for next year when the same situation comes up, have you learned anything or thought of anything after the fact to do to change your luck, so that next year your outcome will be much better.????? oh and throwing the towel in and going to the bar isnt the answer.

Posts: 8859 | Next fish that bites a bulldawg, I'm not setting the hook hard enough to pin the fish. I'm setting the hook hard enough to see if I can make the rod explode I'm setting the hook so hard I'm gonna reel up a severed musky head

Posts: 327 | COSTANTLY check my drag !! Missing a fish of a LIFETIME on the hookset because the drag was way to loose REALLY REALLY makes for a bad day !! Then replaying it in your head over and over and over can make for some long days too , and replaying the GIANT buck I missed over and over in my head doesn't help the situation at all !! Oh yeah , I should probably go to the bar less too .. Wait , bad idea !!!

Posts: 723 | Hopeful-If you have a plan, you might as well throw that out the window. These $#^& fish will throw you a curve everytime. But atleast your confidence seems to be up. That is the most important thing you can have is the PMA. Your attitude towards what youre doing and believing enough to stick with it can do wonders. A little mojo dance won't hurt either. especially if there is another boat passing while your throwin down some moves
