First off, thanks for the request. You said, you'd like to see the Hawg Teasers painted like some of the Bassnatcher (Redhead and Gold Perch) colors. Not a problem at all, what size did you want them done in?. We'll be happy to paint a couple up and bring them to the Blaine, MN. show with us. We will not be offering them or sale to the general public so when you stop by our booth ask for them, we'll have them under the table. Don't feel like your obligated to purchase them if they aren't what your looking for. This bait will not disapoint you no matter what color it comes in.
Looking forward to seeing you in Blaine.

Great baits Josh, a question for you. I really like the Rattle Hawg but it fouls with the leader fairly often. What type of leader and length would you suggest? Thanks. I had some serious blowups on it last year the few times I used it late in the season.

Steel leaders, 8-12" long, have worked best for us without any fouling. And we notice no adverse effects on bouyancy or action. We also found in testing that a non-solid type leader (or no leader at all) fouled the bait too often, especially when we tried out the 4" Rattle Hawg on lighter tackle for bass, with the fouling always occuring toward the end of the cast. Even that needed a lighter steel leader. Be sure to look us up at one of the shows (schedule appears on www.hawgseekers.com; not posted yet is hopefully New London Musky Magic 3/19/05) if this doesn't help; and look us up if it does!

Hello Josh,
Now that is what I call customer service. I would love to see a 10" model in the redhead color and a 12" model in the gold perch color. I look forward to picking them up at the Blaine show. Thanks for holding them for me. I have one more question. Have you tinkered with weighting them at all. Some of my favorite suicks are weighted and are absolute muskie magnets.
Thanks Again

Yes as matter a fact they are weighted the 10" has one weight and the 12" has two weights. Just enough to so when you pause in between jerks it suspends for slow deadly rise. I look forward to you using them, they've been an exciting and very consistent bait through all bites in this last years testing period. I'd be willing to bet it'll be your new favorite.

No we've never met, good point. But I planned on making some extras just for that reason, someone will see him with it and maybe want one so its not a bad idea to have a few extras.:) Also people attending these shows are more than welcome to inquire ahead of time a color, crazy pattern, or whatever. Just post it or email us [email protected]

Josh happyhooker is bald as a bowling ball and has a red mustache if you see him coming fake a cellphone call! LOL
I suggest asking for ID. I am 100% positive I know everyone on the planet with the last name Sdano an none of them will be at the muskie Expo.

Thanks for the info Josh, I was using a stranded leader most of the time and that must have been the problem.
