Posts: 7121 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | As many know, I'm a big Abu Garcia guy (no, I'm no Pro-Staffer or anything along those lines) and I think we all know that Garcias get somewhat of a bad wrap on this board and others, but I just wanted to pass on a little personal experience. MuskieMike Grudgings did a number on my Morrum, fishing in the ice and snow on my last day of the year, basically killing the worm gear (thanks Mike!). The reel was sent back to Abu Garcia's Factory Service in Iowa last Friday. This morning a brand-new Morrum 6600CL (with my power handle put on it) was at my doorstep. I think that's pretty good customer service, but thats just me. | ||

Location: Des Moines IA | That tooth was a little small to be makin' earrings out of. If I had a tooth from a 50 that I had caught, It'd probably be mounted with the replica. I'm pretty good at losin' things, and I wouldn't want to lose it..... It is kinda funny though, that all I've ever caught on a weagle ... is a tooth ..... Edited by MuskieMike 12/31/2005 4:02 PM | ||

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | It's good to see the customer service committment on your reel, Slamr, it's an expensive one! Tica should be easier to contact, I'll give that a try next week to see if I can help get that errant reel back on a rod. | ||
