Starting the search for a boat, like the size of the 617, but have no experience fishing out of one. If you own, used to own, or have experience fishing from a 617, what do/did you like and dislike?

Thanks
Ryan

A good friend of mine Darrin from www.muskyhunt.com had one for several years, so did another friend, Todd Forcier from WI Rapids. I fished out of Darrins on several occassions... For fishing two people it is one of the nicer boats out there. It seemed to ride nice and was very stable in the waves. Nice sized rig for most waters, but it's short on room if you have three in the boat more than just a few times a season.

Slab,

I still can't get over how big that fish was in your picture. Wonder how big she is now?

Mark and J-
I appreciate the input, thanks.

Dirt- I often wonder the same thing.

Anyone else with 617 experience?

Thanks
Ryan
