Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. This is the day to appreciate what one has, and the opportunities still to come; what a great place to live! Family, friends...that's the day for us. Deer huning until dark, Sue will come in mid day and put in the turkey, then will spend the rest of the day in the stand with me waiting for a buck to show. Keith and Brandy are about to bring my second grandson into this fine world, so this is a very special November for us. We give our thanks for a great family, good friends, and..
Muskies!

Happy Thanksgiving!

For the travelers....travel safely.
For the cooks - be careful of the hot burners.
For the kids - have fun and remember the good times.
For the adults - shuffle the cards, ice the beer, and leave your belt on the dresser.

Many things to give thanks for....

A biological mother who chose not to abort me and instead, placed me up for adoption.
A great mom and dad who raised me, taught me right from wrong, and paddled my behind when I needed it.
Knowing that I was spoiled as an only child.
My parents letting me make my own mistakes, when there's really no other way to learn other than to experience failure.
Having been able to hold my mom's hand and tell her "thanks" & "goodbye"before she passed away.
Having found my biological parents and siblings 30 years later.
A "new" little sister!
Old highschool buddies who track you down and call, just to say hi...lifelong friends.
...I'll mention the invention of Marlboro Lights and Mt. Dew before I forget...

So many things I can't even begin to think of....

Thank You.

Be Safe, Be Thankful, Eat Well, Rejoice in all that is good, Enjoy.

Was hoping to get out open water fishing or duck hunting one last time but they are talking temps around 8 degrees and wind chills below zero, we'll see how things look in the morning.
