We've got a couple guys here at the U of I who are really into muskies, and quite good to boot. There are also some guys from UW Madison who love the toothy critters, too. Our thinking is to have some kind of match, but where?

Here are some suggestions we've come up with:

1) Have a tourney here in IL, say Shelbyville, in the spring - maybe a Cabin Fever type event.
2) Hold a second event in WI around the southern opener
3) Fish a neutral body of water, like Webster to even the playing field.

Are there any other guys out there at different schools that might want to participate? Big Perc, how bout representing Iowa? Reelwise (talk to Vandy)?

Looking for suggestions.

One more thing, this is not limited to Big Ten schools, I just couldn't think of another topic title.

We're talking current students of the Universities, too. Probably should have said that in the beginning.

My buddy has a house in Monona bay, so if there is a Madison event in the early spring, I'm in.

It's "my buddy and I" would probably want in on the action. I guess Falcons have different grammar standards than Pointers..

Yeah, we're trying to organize a tourney for current students. We have 2 boats and 3-4 guys from U of I so far. As Sean said, we're open to schools other than the Big Ten schools. We're just trying to get a sense of numbers students/schools interested and maybe ideas of when/where to hold it. Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.
