How many of you buy rods and reels online or over the phone or do only buy them in a store face to face? Just my own little survey. Thanks.

Naw, Mike just trades for what he wants later.

(HI Mike)

I like to feel the rod first and check out the action. If I were replacing a rod, that might be different.

I fish all G-Loomis rods and am extremely happy with all the models I have. I have purchased them in person and also over the internet.

Never bought a rod online but I have reels. Some great deals on fisherman's factory outlet and on ebay.

This is a great question. As a custom rod builder without store front, I rely totally on the internet. What would be some good suggestions that I could use to make it better for the buyer that cannot put one of my sticks in their hand until they buy one? Minus sport shows that is.

Thanks Keith

Keith,
I think one thing you should have on your sight is pictures of your product. In my opinion I think aesthetic's comes into play when someone is purchasing a rod. Let them see what the cork/handle configuration looks like, blank color, different thread designs, and maybe a list of different guide choices or other accesories you can add to a custom rod.
I took a chance and ordered from you anyway. I was not dissapointed, you make a beautiful rod.
