Posts: 89 | Can anyone recommend a decent resort on Vermillion (MN) that caters to muskie fisherman - or is just a good place to stay - thanks in advance.

Posts: 1023 Location: Lafayette, IN | Muskego Point in Wakemup Narrows (west end.) My family has stayed there many times through the years and they have an excellent reputation on the lake. Joe and Jenny run a first class show. Awesome tackle shop for a resort store (muskies included). Groceries, license, nice slips. Jenny's dad Grant Hughes, is a widely known musky and smallmouth angler on the lake. It's a great treat to pick his brain if he's around. Tell them Steve Johnson told you to call. We've stayed there 7 years in a row now. My uncles stayed there many times before that.

Posts: 479 Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | E-Hawk, it really depends on whether you want to fish the West or East ends...not there aren't some good places to stay in between, but you can really save your self some time and gas by zeroing in a little. On the West, you simply can not do better than Muskego with Jenny & Joe as mentioned. On the East there are several places including Glenwood Lodge. Good luck!

Good advise from the G-man, but he knows very little about a lot of stuff, but I hear from a friendly rock was smart enuff to buy why you still can. ![]() To bad he is one of THEM!!! LOL X 100000000000000000 Mr. Black also has sound advise, as Retreat Lodge is about mid lake so you can run all over or just hang around the area as it is all good. People that run it always been very nice to me and the people whom hire me for HUGE, unreal amounts of cash so I can buy some lunch meat, stale bread and afford food for my hounds, some ZEST for my body & GAS and OIL for me boat! Now for something completly different. Ever wonder why people would ever care what movie stars think about anything? Gezzzzzzzzzzzzz! Grab something killed, grill it fast and chow! ![]() I'll have mine medium please with a side of happiness. relhewmot

Posts: 479 Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | Tom, Are you finished up at the cabin or are you still there doing some trolling or such? I'm going up this weekend to pull the dock up etc.
