In addition to the stocking program in Green Bay, is natural reproduction taking place in the Bay? If so, can anyone shed any light as to where the spawning grounds are?

Thanks,

Sean

No natural reproduction has been documented yet but it is a goal of the DNR to have a self sustaining fishery someday.

Their eggs and milt are viable. They have places to spawn. There's enough of them now where they can find each other fairly easily. Are they spawning? Who knows. They are attempting to in the rivers where they are released thats for sure. Someone reliable stated in the Muskies Inc. lunge log that they caught a nice tiger on one of the tribs this spring.........a tiger means there's some sort of spawning happening. We could only hope.
