I picked up a creeper not to long ago. Fished it for the first time this weekend. It doesn't walk near as good as others I have seen. How do I tune it? I read the directions on the package then, threw them away. I can't remember which way to bend the wings to tune it?

The first thing I look at is the blades themselves when you are looking directly at the front of the bait. They should be equal on both sides vertically. Then, look directly down on the bait. the wings should bend out at the same angle on each side. If they need adjustment, take a pliers and bend the back end of the wing (behind the pivot point) in the direction needed to get the wings even.

To get a faster "ploop" twist the wings so that the top of the wing is bent to the front and the bottom of the wing is toward the back. It does not need very much...

Hope this helps a little...

Search the forums on the various boards... someone who makes them has some hand written instructions that I got ahold of somehow. Cant' remember which board.

Mike, if you can find one of the new Le Lure Creepers, look at the back of the packaging. It has excellent tuning instructions. I know Smokeys has the new Le Lures. Not sure where to look in your neck of the woods.
