I am new to muskie fishing(casting). Everyone around here seems to troll. I have been on a couple of charters and caught fish but did not really enjoy washing lures and then reeling in a fish with a telephone pole rod. I was also disapointed in the release techniques of the profesionals. Everyone on this sight seems very helpfull. Does anyone Know if there is a sight like this one for Michigan anglers.

I'm sure lots of guys from Michigan come to this site. Here's a link to a Muskies Inc. chaper in Michigan.

There IS a great group of guys in Michigan who do more than troll LSC. As mentioned check out the Michigan Muskie Alliance website. Check in to our forum and introduce yourself. We have several outings and gatherings each season on various lakes around Michigan. I have been a member of the club going on 4 years and have met a great group of people who have now become freinds and regular fishing partners. Welcome!

Tomcat,

Went with a buddy for 4 days over the Labor day weekend. She was 53.5 (tail not pinched). Caught her casting... What a neat experience.

Thanks. This isn't a Michigan fish... Still working on a big girl like this from Michigan. This fish was from the Ottawa River.

Chad,
Congrats on that MONSTER!!!
I know you deserve a fish like that...I dont think I've met anybody with more passion about muskie fishing than you for a long while.
See you at the show...or sooner
