There's frost on the lawn this morning and temps in the 30's for anyone coming up north this weekend. This would put water temps on the shallow lakes in the 60's, I'd guess. Ran my fireplace insert last night for the first time. Fall has arrived!

I'll be looking to the edges and deeper weeds this weekend on the dark water lakes thinking the muskies will be moving out of the slop unless we get a considerable warmup.

My neighbors up in Land 'O Lakes told me they had a very hard frost up there last night. Snow and ice are coming soon. Amazing how fast time goes by when you start getting older.

Frost...you gotta be kidding!
Down here in the Southern range, it was 92 degrees yesterday, and 85 today!
Man I wish it would hurry up and cool off.
