Where are you headed this weekend to ply the waters for muskies? I'm on the Moen, Julia, Boom, a newly discovered little jewel and Pelican with Slamr, Crash McGolden, Sue, and TommyV. Should be alot of fun, the grill probably won't have a chance to cool off all weekend. The Hideout is still open, by the way, since we can sleep 5 guests easily in the main house.

Where are you spending the Labor Day weekend?

My little sister is getting married in the Cedar Rapids area this weekend. I got some good info on Pleasant Creek form a fellow Muskiefirster! Probably try to hit it Thurs evening. Friday morning and Sunday morning. Probably do some bait fishing on Monday on a local pond.

No fish on any of those lakes, Steve. LOL. My home away from home, and I won't be there.
The fish in my pic with Lori was taken from Moen on her first musky trip.

Leaving tomorrow for a 5-day musky bonanza in Price, Sawyer and Iron county lakes and rivers.

My answer to the rising fuel costs = Weagle sale (Thanks Musky Nut for building a lure in such high demand)

Good luck all!

Headed up to the mercer area for one last trip up north for the seaon. Hope to fish some little lakes nobody fishes.

I do think it is going to be busy. I had a hard time finding a place to stay and usually only have to call about 3-4 places on short notice. I think with these gas prices exploding, people are looking for a last hurrah.

I'll be hanging out around Pelican all weekend. I hope to have the fortune of running into the Worrall's and the rest of their camp!

I will be in WI and was going to try and make some connections to fish. Our computer has had problems for about a month and we just changed services, and this evening is the first time I have been on for a while.

Cell phone for this trip 224-4552, and I am not very good at cell phones, just got the bugger, you may have to call more than once. I will be in the NE. Todd M give me a beep!
