| GILLICH AND PODHORA WIN WMT'S PELICAN LAKE QUALIFIER
A full field of 150 muskie anglers gathered to compete in the WMT's final one day qualifying event of the 2005 season on Pelican Lake on Sunday, August 7th. The tournament anglers would discover that the fishing activity would be fast and furious as eighteen legal muskie would be registered with eight topping the forty inch mark.

WMT'S BOOM LAKE TOURNAMENT FINISHES WITH A BANG!
For the fifth year in a row, the WMT hosted a one day qualifying tournament on Boom Lake on Saturday, August 6th. The full field of contestants were competing for the $10,000.00 first place prize money, and for the additional $17,000.00 for the first muskie registered at 50 inches or greater. Even though no giant muskies would be measured in the post-cold frontal conditions during the tournament, the event would end in a dramatic fashion.
