Location: Wayzata, MN | Hey all,
I'm heading to Mille Lacs [saturday only, time crunch]... any suggestions? Are they playing in the rocks yet? Weeds? Sand?
Thanks in advance...

| Up there the other day and all fish seen (6); weeds. |

| Spent Thursday and Fri. a.m there. Did not see a single fish. Tried it all. Talked to some others with the same luck. Good luck to you. I still feel the weeds are the answer. |

Location: minocqua, wi. | was there last week tuesday - thursday and moved lots of fish the first day and then things went stone cold on us. call Jonesi for a hand .... oh, and by the way Steve ... thanks a million for your help last week. we put a very important client and his 11 year old son in the boat with Steve and couldn't have picked a better guy for the job. Steve put us on fish right off the bat ... unfortunately they weren't eating .... but huge (nothing under 40"'s) and we brought a dozen to the boat. one very big fish (i'm negotiating the size down for myself so i feel better) that broke my heart on a topwater.
there are alot of great sticks over there ... i chose Steve Jonesi and recommend him to any of you making the trip. i fish a ton myself and was able to do this as a business deal, but i'd pay to fish with Steve again no question ... he knows the game, the lake, works hard, will do what it takes to get the best the day can deliver. ... thanks again Steve! |
