I was just on another site and read that Frenchy LeMay has passed away. Sorry to see him go!

Wow, Frenchy and Buck in one week, the fishing world is losing some of our true pioneers. Both will be missed. I met Frenchy a few times over the years, he was a great guy with a tremendous sense of humor.

To this day, I still cherish an old King Kong Globe (as he called it) that he made and I picked up at his house when I was there with a good bud of mine that new him well. Yep, he had a great sense of humor and made some awesome baits. I have patched this thing up a few times and am not sure if I can after my last outing? If I can't I may just retire the old Kong and move on???

I had the pleasure of meeting Frenchy this Winter. He was quite the character from what I have heard. A great musky fisherman and a great lure builder. He will be missed. May he rest in peace and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and those who knew him well.

Frenchy, Buck, and Frank in a very short period of time. Sad to hear of the passing of all these men...

Sorry, not up to date on things. Could the Buck mentioned above be Buck Perry, The pioneer of structure fishing? If so, that is indeed a loss for all fishermen.
