Hi everyone,
Any hot tips for a week vacation this fall? I'm willing to travel to big fish. Please be specific to what bay or section of the lake. Color and types of baits will be usefull also. Or if anyone wants to share a story of there best trip would be great to hear too. (I'm taking off the third week in sept. and lookin for a trophy)

Thanks for all.

Third week of September can be really good on Cass and Leech lakes in Minnesota, on the many muskie waters of Oneida and Vilas counties in Wisconsin, and on many Canadian waters, too. What are your trip parameters, how much are you willing to spend, and how far do you want to travel?

North Twin Lodge, Phelps WI is a great place for a fall vacation. There is enough water on this lake to fish and not get bored. There are tens of thousands of acres of lakes within 30 minutes of the lake. The resort has the finest three sided slips in the north with wind & wave protection from the south, west, & northwest.
There are State Forests with deer and grouse to pursue.
The resort is "women" friendly, that is to say clean, warm, nice bathrooms and kitchens. There are a million tourist type activities nearby.
The owners are Marti & Jennifer Primich at 715-545-3474.
I'll see you there.
