I have 94 Lund Pro-v and was wondering if the gas guage reads correctly with boat in water, or with boat level on trailer? I would assume in the water, and I know they are just a guide to the relative amount of fuel in tank.

Thanks
Nick

Most are designed to read with the boat level regardless of where it is. Accuracy usually depends on the type of sending unit in the tank. Two basic types; 1. A float on a wire arm that hinges are moderately accurate and depend on how well the sending unit is matched to the shape of the tank. 2. Is a float that rides up and down on a verticle shaft attached to the sending unit. As long as at reaches the bottom of the tank this will give you the most accurate measurment.
