| SPENCER AND MOHNEY WIN WMT'S MINOCQUA TOURNAMENT
The Wisconsin Muskie Tour finished the western region one-day qualifying events on Lakes Minocqua and Kawaguesaga on Sunday, June 19th. The tournament would wind up being one of the most exciting and memorable events in the history of the WMT. Big fish was the theme of the day, producing seven muskies over forty inches (out of the 14 registered) giving the event an average size of just under 40 3/4 inches. A 49 1/2 inch muskie was the largest of the tournament, and also the largest ever registered in the WMT's sixty-one tournament history.
SCHWEIK AND HILMAN WIN WMT'S MOHAWKSIN TOURNAMENT
For the fifth straight year, the Wisconsin Muskie Tour made Lake Mohawksin a stop on the tour with a one day qualifying event on Saturday, June 18th. And for the fifth year, the Mohawskin tournament was an exciting event that produced a lot of fish with a boat load of drama. Fifteen muskies would be tallied by the full field of anglers, with six measuring over 40 inches.
