Location: Racine, Wi | Make sure to pause as well. Fish like to eat when it's sit'n there. Like Baldy said, make sure you have slack, and the butt end should be make'n lots of noise and moving lots of water. Also, no need to work it too fast. Nice and easy. |

I was throwing one sunday on a long rod...8'6" All Star Ex Heavy and it did a much better job than the 7 footer I had been throwing it on...

Location: minocqua, wi. | threw mine around for the first time and happy with the action, lots of slack slow and learn how to make it dive on command. i can see that a scream of "WEAGLE BABY" will accompany the traditional "BOOM SHACKA LACKA" this season out of my boat. |

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | I had my first chance to work this bait hard this past weekend....well, a total of 3-5 hours of pure Weagle time. 2 36"ers and 2 more blow ups....every single fish either hit boatside or after the pause.
I use a 6' Heavy Premier....short snaps with a little slack. Thinking of going to my 6-9", it may make things a bit easier, but you can work this thing well with a short stick.
Even in a decent chop she comes right through with no problems...cuts like a knife. JackPot would have been tossed out of the water or fouled. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I break the mold here, and work the Weagle VERY erratically. Fast pops followed by a long, slow, easy glide and pause, then a series of near stay in one place fast twitches, followed by a long, slow, easy glide and pause. Sometimes the downward POP I get in the process tosses water a foot in the air, and BOOM!!! The last couple feet, UNDER she goes like a glider, many fish I've pinned up on a Weagle hit the bait at boatside under the water.
But that's just me, and I'm a bit off center with gliders and zig zag baits. |

Location: Oconomowoc, WI | I've raised a ton of fish on the Weagle and even have had them try to eat it. But, have yet to hook one up. Very frustrating. I'm definitely going to try the longer pauses to see if this helps. |
