Anyone ever camp on the islands up there?

We are going to get the camping permits, and camp opening weekend, we are just going to pick a nice island and camp at dark.
Want to try it before the bugs get to bad, never done it but always wanted to.

Any tips would help if anyone has ever camped up there.

Thanks

I would skip the island idea and find main a spot on mainland.

If the wind whips up and storms, you are screwed on an small island.

If you are on a huge island where you can find cover, you will be ok.

I camped for a week up there 3 years ago. Good times.

Thanks for the info. We have a place at the Angle, just looking to try something new, many of you probably think we are crazy with a place up there allready to go camping, but will be a new experience. There will be three of us going, not to worried about storms or wind, there are many places to hide from the wind.

Trolling motor, we are trying a new charging system this year, charges as you go. If the batteries are to low at the end of day 1, then we will just head back to the cabin.
