We had the same problem this past weekend that we had last spring. Lot's of followers, not many eaters. I think it's due to the crystal clear water we are fishing. What's your strategy for clear water? Any ideas?

I have fished predominatly clear water systems in Canada. You either need cloudy, low light conditions, wind to stir the waves or alternatively the last hours of daylight when the light does not penetrate the water as well.

Another promising tactic is to fish suspended muskies try 30-40 foot depths off deeper water or associated with structure you usually find them on. We have at times done well in these areas with 9 inch Jakes or squirly Jakes.

good luck

Let me know how it works, maybe we could get together some time and give it a shot. You are only a 4 hour drive from Maryland.
