We're in. Who else is going to buy me a beverage to congratulate me on my victory, other than me?

*seriously, if you're on the fence about attending this tourney (DaveP), stop pondering, and get in on it. Its a well run tourney, run by a great group of guys.

I can second that. I have fished this tourny, and it is a blast. Very good group of guys, food, BEER, and good prizes. There are some very nice fish waiting to be caught. I was going to fish it this year, but since I got a new boat (just got it yesterday, wooo hoooo) I have to run that around a bit to break her in.
Good luck to all, and for pete's sake, someone buy Slamer a beer, he is married now, and probably broke.

I'll be there with BACKLASH. Maybe this year we won't lose in the last ten minutes. The Thirsty Turtle also has the good Blackberry Brandy. Should need it after a cold day on the water.

I'll be there at 4 am to plug in the coffee pots with the Big Goomba. Probably going to have to turn on the heater in the tent too! The fish are spawned out and its time for them to put the feedbag on. I'm hoping someone nails that monster lurking out in front of Airport Bay. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Joel you don't need to break that motor in. You could probably camp a spot all day and win this thing.

I'll be there, fishing with Jimmy Z and hopefully some positive MOJO. We will be drinking all day, more so if we are not catching anything.

Joel, good luck with the new boat dude!

That weather forecast looks like the same one that it took a 45.5" fish to come in second a couple years back.

Slamr:
My attending this weekends tourney will not happen only because of family obligations. I might still do the fall leg of it or at least next spring. I know that my entering the tourney will throw the majority into a panicked frenzy (as they are obviously doing now with you in the tourney). But i am willing to try it very soon. For those who are fishing it, i hope everyone has action...even Slamr. The #2 boat could be a sleeper this year.

Yes there still some spots available. I have to confirm food Thursday morning so if anyone is planning to go and pay the morning of the tournament it is not absolutely necessary but it would be helpful if you let us know by posting here that you are comming so we can increase our food order. Thanks in advance.

We will be giving away a trip for two for a week on Lake Vermilion at Everett Bay Lodge as a door prize. No fish needed to win this great prize in addition to free food and Leinie's.

Joe,
Count me in. I'll be driving up from Mokena that morning. Looking forward to seeing everyone. This is a great event with a great bunch of poeple fishing and running it. Anyone know what the water temps are at with this cold front that is passing through?
Good luck everyone,

This is one of my fav tournaments. Unfortunately I will not be fishing with my bud Tom Oson Frickin family stuff!!! Congrats to Natalie Tom.
One thing to Point out is that this is A FRV Muskies Inc Fundraising event. Lots of cool raffel prizes for everybody, plus you get to meet a chubby outdoor writer! The FRV MI has helped with $ and time to make the chain what it is today.
Whats amazing is that for the past 4 years it took at least a 46" to win.

Core I already have you rod in my truck dont forget your lures this time.
Joe I'll Bring some baits for the Raffel

Se ya in the AM

I'll be there in Keith's boat. Hope he does as good as he has in the past. I'm hoping he carries me.
