Got out on Shab Saturday. Got there about 11 fished til 5. Fished the No Motor Zone right when we got there. Then we trolled . Marked a bunch of baitfish deep in the south end. We threw 7 inch Novak gliders and countdown raiders on the school edges. Nothing! When will I learn ! End of the day, no motor zone, casting a perch bull dawg, getting tried, miss a few fidure 8's here and there. Just so happens I have a follow on a retrtieve where I don't figure 8 . My partner sees a huge boil right by the boat! And we gotta be out of the park by dark. Fished around there for 5 more minutes ( had to get off the water) . Man I did the same thing my first day in Canada! When will I learn!

got out on today (friday) fished from around 9 to 2. Didnt see anything, but found a ton of shad balled up outside and right at the mouth of the no motor zone. Hopefully the muskies will be right on their tails. Anyone have any action....saw three other boats out.

Yeah there were huge shad in the NMZ last weekend. I snagged 2 with my musky baits.

His Shabbona from about 9am-3pm yestrerday. Very windy out there. Hit the NMZ, cribs on the points and the channel in various points. Nothing going. Water temps were from 47-48 in most spots.
