Fished the Cave Monday-Thursday. Fishing was extremely tough! Moved 0 fish, putting in 25 hours on the water. There were alot of folks from Wis, Minn., and Indiana who had the same results. Water temp. were in the low to mid 40's. Cold nights and fronts were a daily occurance.

65 and sunny today...10 hours of pounding... 2 strikes, both on traps. Talked with several others including guides, and all had about the same luck...no fish in the boat. Found water at 59 degrees late in the day after starting out in the high 40's. Tomorrow's forcast calls for 77 degrees...last day of our trip...hopefully the fish will be a bit more active... (Monday was a washout with flood warnings in the area...needless to say no action the whole day.)
