| last saturday on pewaukee there was 3 fisheries. there was plenty of action. For you musky boys there was 1-48 to 50 inch released,4- 42 to 36inches cought that i was informed about, there was 8 northerns the bigest was 9.9lbs at 35.5 inches. my clients cought 2 small muskies and a 25 inch northern. lots of panfish bitting, stay in the larger weed beds, the bluegills are more plentyfull there. the perch are still running small. Ice condions are good east of rockypoint, the heaves around rockypoint still have not sealed up. they run from lakeside to rockypoint. stay clear of this are, the west end is good but axcess is tough, there was a 25inch walleye cought last friday night off walks island. Walleyes have been bitting all season this year thanks to a bumper crop of 10 to 14 inch shorties(bait nabbers). I takes about 10 to 15 shorties to get a legal, but the average legal has been 21 to 24 inches.
good luck - see you on the ice. |
