I've never installed a CD player/radio in anything. Is it a big job to install one in my boat?
The music thread has me wanting tunes in my boat.

That really depends on the boat, one of the hardest parts can be running the wires. Otherwise the rest is not too hard.

The hardest part will be cutting the hole for the player. Once you have the hole cut, and the player mounted, you will be running wire. It's a pretty basic job, but time consuming and tedious. Definitely measure 3 times, drill holes in the corners of your rectangle, and cut slowly.

Couple of suggestions: put masking tape around your area that needs to be cut out. This will save any possible scratches to the surface that will still be showing.

Run your wires through a protective sheath to prevent any possible chaffing/short to develop.

Enjoy your tunes.
