How many days on the water (at 4 hours or more) a year do you spend fishing Muskies? About what is your catch per hour rate where you fish, combined?

Wow, that is going to take some math.
According to my Garmin GPS I was on the water over 600 hrs. But this includes walleye, bass and musky fishing.
I have not checked how many times I was musky fishing but know it was around 50-60X. During these times we averaged better than 5 musky/trip. Now as for catch rate/hr it varies because sometimes I would go out for 4-10 hrs. So we could avg those and make it 7 hrs.
That being said we would avg less than 1 fish/hr. in the boat. That would be using 3 or 4 rods. It is only 1 rod/person in Ontario waters of LSC. In many cases were hooked 5-10 muskies/day.

After Chartertalk's numbers mine pale in comparison but here's last year:

45 times out
29 muskie boated
247 hours spent chasing muskie

catch rate of .12 ski/hour or avg 8-1/2 hours per fish

Let's see. 2004. only 6 trips. Averaged about 4 hours each. 24 hours. 13 fish. Wow! that's not bad.

Now, let's go back a couple years! hehehe Well, maybe I'll quit while I'm ahead. I plan to spend ALOT more time chasing muskies this year.

On my local waters ( Lakes Waubesa and Monona) Madison, WI. Casting only (I do not like trolling).

144 hours fished. 15 muskies caught(34 inches or greater). 5 muskies between 40.5" and 48".

One muskie every 9.6 hours. 33% of which were greater than 40".

My wife thinks I spend my whole life on the water, you know something she's right. Thank god I spend my nights at home. You think after 25 wonderful years that she would get use to it...

I don't fish much, and I never catch enough.
Though my daughter and I did kick the crap
out of the walleyes on The Mississippi River the week
of Easter last year.
This year it looks like it will even be less time.
