Would a 6500C3 be a better reel for cranks or would the 7000C3 be even better? In fact, would the latter suffice for all types of musky fishing? I believe it has a 4-1 gear ratio. I know it's made in Asia, but Garcia has it's people there to insure quality, or so the factory claims. Thanks in advance for any input.

Get you a 7000, you won't be sorry. Look and see what Doug Johnson throws.

Just my $.02 worth
