Subject: Myths, ?s, and facts about musky

I was just wondering if anybody has heard any myths, ?s, or interesting facts about musky. Example--Do musky really put on the feed bag in fall, or does the thermocline bring baitfish closer to the surface-musky. I've heard from biologists that a musky's metabolism slows down in cold water. So why are so many big fish caught? --Musky fisherman don't have to have 10,000 casts to produce a fish---How often do musky eat during different times of the year? I was wondering if anybody had any scientific facts to some of these questions. please post your myths, ?s and interesting facts.
Thanks,
Todd
