Was is it me or was the show poorly attended by both spectators and vendors? It was dead on Sat. What is going on from last year to this year? Comments...

Actually.....all Saturday nights are slow at shows, at least this is my experience.

The show was much better attended than the year prior, and there were a good number of vendors. Would the vendors and the Stellas have desired there to be more of both? Obviously yes. Will the show continue to grow, I would predict and hope so.

The show had almost double the amount of vendors from last year. I know that for a fact since Jim Stella told me so. Yes, the attendance wasn't spectacular, but I really think this show will make it big time. The attendance was higher this year than last year. The facility is the best of all the shows in the country in my opinion, and many others feel this way too. Give it time!! Bring your bowling shoes next time for the muskie pro-am bowling tournament next year!! Beware of Jim Saric though, he is a #*^@ good bowler!

Not a slam against anybodys show at all,,, I think "ALL shows" regardles of city or promoter are down or not what was predicted

I just think the entire Musky world is moving too fast,,Theres maybe too many events and not enough muskie people has we might think,,We just had the two biggest muskie tournaments in history this past year offering payouts that have never been seen before taking things to a new level and we STILL couldnt fill them,,think about it,,, all we needed was 400 people to fill these two!!! 400, two fields of 100 boats from the entire sport,,,In my Neighborhood we have several weddings a year that have more then 400 guests,, Im wondering how this looks to the big money???? like Pepsi,Coke, general motors,Budweiser etc,,is it better to have a proliferation of events 60% full or less events that are at 100 % capacity,,And apart from the big money what about DNR's??? do they get a negative reaction and feel the sport is not that strong when they see things like Tournaments and shows with empty space and does this hurt our chances for obtaining more muskie water????,,,,Heres something that puts it into prespective for me I was channel surfing and stopped on ESPN, then I saw something that made my jaw drop,,,"Lawn Tractor racing",,what???? Are you kiddin me???? "LAWN TRACTOR RACING",,and espn was devoting an hour of coverage to it!!!!,,were lucky if we can get 15 minutes of musky fishing once in a while on espn outdoors half a fishing show its a tiny sport were in,,I would like to see tourneys and shows grow and more lakes but Im wondering if maybe were shooting ourselfs in the foot moving too fast

As the others have stated the attendance at the show was higher this year and there were more vendors. Please remember this is only the second year for the Extreme shows and it takes a while for the notoriety and credibility to grow. I was talking to someone the other day about the "old days" and remeniscing about the first year of the Tri Esox (Chicago) show. You could walk in and take in all the booths in about 15 minutes. Look what it is today. Jim Stella and his dad are doing a great job of making these shows very user friendly for both the vendors and attendees. Give it some time and if you want bigger/better shows then my best suggestion is to support them and bring somebody with you to the next one. More attendees attract more vendors. The speaker lineups have been great and the introduction of some new faces to the stage is refreshing!

It was a good show. All shows slow down in the evenings, even the chi show was slow in it's last hour on sat and sun but power played a part on sun. Chad is right, the venue is great, only being equal or bested by the ohio show venue. Both are great. Do bring the bowling shoes, that was a blast.

Chad, Musky Tom and I go way back... He always talks good things about you and the new found rock humps that you find on Lake Vermillion, he he he (I can see Thomas laughing in the back ground, with his new rock style dew!) Bucktail Ben.

I will probably see you on the water in August! I am headed up North to visit Tommy Boy!!!
