| Looking to purchase the North region, but was wondering which is the best buy or what the difference is between the two.... beside $75.00?
Thanks

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | The Premium is going to cover Wisconsin and Minnesota. I believe Iowa is on that chip/cd too. |

| Navionics website tells about the chips and has a list of what lakes are on them. Later |

| I have been to the website but I was hoping to get some input from some one first hand.
If it is just more lakes on the one that wont help me much. If it has better detail of individual lakes that's a different story. |

Location: Huber Heights, Ohio | Just called Navtronics, they said the premium has about 2000 additional lakes nationwide over the classic or gold. The premium also has some high defination lakes that have 1 foot depth contours. Some of the lakes in the premium version have Fishing Hot Spots as the source of those lakes maps, which means they will look like the paper FHS maps. The other lakes are DNR type maps. The FHS section of navtronics will show a list of the maps and a key as to which source the maps use. For me the permium is what I'm going to buy. |
