Posts: 358 | I am thinking about fishing this tournament next year and was wondering how many of the MF folks have fished it, and what their opinion is of it? I know, I know, its only Dec. 21st and I am already thinking about getting back on the water! Have a great Christmas and hoiday season all!

Posts: 136 | The Cabin Fever Challunge will be on Green River LAke March 31-April 2. It's always a great time and the fishing is usally pretty good at this time of the year. Steve Worall and Chad Cain will be down to do seminars...

Location: Athens, Ohio | I'm thinking about fishing it myself. Still too early to tell but for the few bucks it sounds like a real hoot. Folks in my MI chapter walked off as winners last year. Anyone know about lodging accomodations? m

| Best Western at Campbellsville 15 minutes. Columbia has another good Motel but don't remember the name, also 15 minutes. Then there is another motel, the Lucky Vista, which I could recommend, in Campbellsville, and closest to the lake, and they cater to fisherman ph 270-465-8196. It will fill up first. It is a short drive from any of theses to the local resturants. None of these accomadations are poor and there is no difficulty driving from point a to point b in this area. Easy to get back and forth where ever you are, just if you are down in Columbia you might have extra 20 minute distance to events, but you are on the lake from any of these in less than 15 minutes. Activities are scheduled in Campbellsville, which is about 20 minutes from Columbia but easy driving, so any of the three accomodations will work pretty good and shouldn't be a problem getting a room in the area. You better have a boat or a partner before coming down. I have tried to get hooked up with someone to fish with late on KY events, and have never been able to make connections on four separate events when calling late, so be aware of that. Fishing can be good if water is somewhat stable and weather favorable. | |||

Posts: 160 Location: Carney, Mi (in da UP eh!) | I stayed at the Lucky Vista last year (not during the challunge but on the way home from the Talladega Cup race) it's a great mom and pop type motel extremely friendly to the Musky Community (bunch of release pictures on the wall behind the check in desk) the whole community seemed pretty friendly to the Musky fisherman..I had trouble with my Johnson motor not peeing water, I took it to the local Johnson dealer( a local at the boat landing recommended him,I can't think of his name now but have his business card) who looked at it (put the water ear muffs on it and everything worked great) he didn't want to charge me a dime. Of course I made it worth his while....I'll be going back in the future....Ask to see the pictures of the Corvette....awesome
