Location: Elkhart, IN | I see alot of people mentioning Eagle Tails and have even seen the comment in the swap section that not interested in bucktails unless they're Eagle Tails. Since I'm not familiar with them can you tell me whats so special about them? What sets them apart from other bucktails? |

Location: lansing, il | he usally has a booth at the chicago musky show, and he will make you any color combo you like right there on the spot. i can tell you i had a first hand experience with them one year in canada, where if you wernt throwing an eagle tail you wernt seeing fish. i thought it was a bunch of hooey, so i threw a differnt bucktail with the same colors, i didnt raise a stinkin fish til i listened to our guide and put on a eagle tail. then the fish started to move. so go figure. ive since learned thats why i pay a guide!!of course ill fill my box with eagle tails and next year im sure itll be "ya gotta be throwin a windelltail" i do know for as big as they are they are hard to throw in the wind... they just open up like a parachute!! but id say for big muskies they are another "gotta have" bait |

| They're an 11" bucktail in a class by themselves.I don't even consider them a "tail".Look alive in the water and account for lots of big fish each year. Steve |

| Hands down my favorite bucktail. They seem to raise fish almost all of the time. Tremendous
thump and they are bigger and a bit slower than the rest. The single hooks are good holders
once you hook a fish too. Must have bait in my mind.

| I been putt`in a 6" mogambo on the last hook for added lenght/action so its about a 14" overall bait, as said already once they bite that single hook you gott`em! They preform best for me post-spawn to pre-summer when you think I would do good in the fall but don`t! Its just one of the many things I can`t finger-out! |

| The thorne bros guys have a theory about Eagle tails,,,,George when hes tying them always has a cigerette while working,,the muskies get hooked on the hair absorbed nicotene from the smoke |

Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | Every musky Ive caught on an eagle tail was hooked solidly, they werent getting off without help. Just a quality bait any way you look at it and boasts the numbers to back up it reputation. Call George ahead of the show and he'll have your color scheme already made up for you. He's very accomodating. I bought yet another one this fall and hadnt owned it more than three hours before boating a 30 #er on a figure 8, the fifth fig 8 to be exact. |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Reef Hawg, that was my fish. I had an "incedent" where I had the 7th place fish in the Eagle River PMTT jump out of the boat on me. Troy now holds all the money fish 
That one came on a white/nickle. For LOTW try the "Flame", and purple/brass blade. Also, if you can find one of the Emu feather Eagle Tails buy it.
I like the magnum ones, but have had some sucess with the med ones as well. Rumor has it that George is going to discontinue the little ones. On the bright side I think he's going to produce his spinnerbaits again.
