The Wabull was out last year, introduced at the Chicago Show I believe. Mr Worrall had one early and I watched him school fish with it on Pelican last fall. It is a glide bait that had a whole winters worth of production.

The Weagle is a topwater glide bait that is to be introduced at this years Chicago show. There has been limited production that has been spoon fed to the general public. Something tells me prodution wasn't on the top of either Cady or Jonesi's mind while the water was still soft. Next season I am sure you will be able to get the Weagle at Thorne's also.

The Wabull is a very heavy glide bait that has sweet side to side action. It has been available since last year and I have had one since then. A big fish bait, so I use it mostly on big fish waters.

The Weagle is a heavy but lighter version of the Wabull, and it has incredible walk the dog capabilities once you learn to use it properly. It can turn 180 degrees, total side to side action. It can make noise and push water too if you let it. I have been lucky enough to get two them late this year, and I plan to use them all the time. Basically a larger Jackpot with extra hooks and awesome custom painting. A must have, get to the Chicago show when it opens that Friday and make haste to Thorne Brothers!

I have heard good things about the Weagle. One questions. What are the similarities between the Weagle and the Doc. Sounds very similar.

Similarities? They are both phalic shaped and float. That's it.The Weagle is unlike any other "walk the dog"(walkin the dog, walkin the dog) topwater out there.I worked a buddies Doc this summer for a few casts and had the thing popping out of the water 2'.Kinda tough to get aggressive with the others. The Weagle also works very well in the wind.Matt Thompson got a 49 while filming with ESPN this summer that came crashing out of a 2' wave.Matt loves the Jackpot but in the wind decided to throw the Weagle.Good move. We'll have a bunch of video at the shows , showing it in action. The Weagle produces tail swing while the others produce head bob.A HUGE difference.I hope folks aren't taking my responses as "marketing".There has been a lot of interest generated and as part owner of the company, I feel obligated to respond.Isn't the internet great??!!! Notice, we haven't started any of the threads.People are excited and I don't see anything wrong with that.Heck, I'm still excited, but would rather throw them than talk about it.Thanks. Steve

One thing I would add to Mr. Jonesi's description is that with the tail swing you also get a nice tail slap on the water...like a slapping tail fin of a struggling fish...believe it or not, it is different...it is louder and can produce different actions depending on how you work it...I was lucky enough to get one from the Musky Nut website and another one from Crazy D's Bait Shop...the only downside is that I have only been able to make it out once since picking them up...It was a zero day...but, I am looking forward to next season...

Weagle is a great topwater lure that will produce a sound and move water like no other topwater on the market, WHEN USED CORRECTLY. I am not saying there is only one way to work the Weagle, but there is definately one really good way to work the Weagle. Slow.........

Doc's are plastic and have rattles, I am one that does not like rattles, especially in a topwater lure.

The Wabull is a great slow, in your face glider, that can be worked over deep water as well as over shallow cover when retrieved at a slightly quicker retrieve.

These lures are the real deal and have both earned a starting position in my boat when I am throwing gliders and topwaters.

Is there a difference between the walk-the-dog action between an Odyssey Pig and Weagle?

Piggy is a jerkbait and the Weagle is a top water.
