The lakes in the area are iced over this morning, with temps in the teens overnight all week. Hard water time is here until April, I guess! There's 6" of fresh snow on the ground, too. Guess I'll get out the Frabill Solo tonight and get her ready for icefishing.

You are still invited down to do some idiot casting off the back of my boat anytime Sworrall. I would tell you how good it has been the last week, but it would just make you feel bad. Enjoy your venison, chew it well, and put on an extra blanket till you can come down.

Mr. W., this may be a great opportunity to develop a ice breaker hull or accessory for the Tuffy Boat line!

Got the news today, we got 9-11" of snow in Land O Lakes from friday morning to yesterday, the good thing was that the lake did'nt freeze over until the snow just about ended. I had hopes of heading out for 1 more open water try for walleyes this weekend, but it looks like tip-ups from here on out.

UNFORTUNATELY, the river rats will lose the battle, as of tomorrow the fish will still be biting, but we'll be at home with
winterized boats and happy women. still pulling fish to the bitter end though.
rock on reefhawg. well see you out there tomorrow.
