Here are some pics of Dutch Fork Reservior in Western Pa, between Wheeling Wv and Washington Pa. After the recent flooding here they decided it to be unsafe and needed up to $3,000,000 in repairs. So they are draining it. Today they shocked up a few 10# bass, a 10# walleye from the tailrace and countless trout. Both hybrid and pure strain muskies were stocked but none were netted yet! They said that Thursday will be the big fish day, as the water level will be at 3' then.................

That is a very sad sight indeed.

Where are they going to take the fish for release?

Tomyv, an officer from the Fish and Game Commission told me the fishing downstream should be incredable. I was disappointed that not one muskie was netted................

Downstream is not much in the way of water to hold muskies. I've fished the down stream (to about 15 miles below the dam) all my life. I hope most of the fish made it to the river. Maybe I'll start fishing trout again (with my 8 footer), that's gonna be nuts if some of those fish are in the system this spring.
