hey,

just wanted to drop a line to thank everyone for the kly outing. even with "hurricane kyle", it was great to be out on the water with everyone. got to meet a bunch of really cool people, and even popped a few nice pike. its great to see everyone come together to raise so much money for such a good cause. i never got to meet kly, but i can imagine that he had one heck of a big smile on his face on saturday. my dad just about flipped when i got home to tell him that he got drawn for the trip to the GOON....now i just gotta make sure that he takes me with him. i cant wait to do it again next year. thanks again fellas.

To echo what Eric said, it was a great time, for a great cause.Good to see some friendly faces and finally put faces to some names.Have I mentioned how sick I am of fishin in Hurricanes?Just makes presentation more difficult and boat control a bit more challenging.Had a blast with Big Mo and Plitzzz in the boat.Plitzzz had Mo and I laughing our butts off.Aside from a handful of "pikes", no striped fish for the FFD this weekend.Does somebody make a 200lb thrust trolling motor?Have to mention the area also.1st time there and I was really impressed. The people , the facilities and of course the lakes.Lots of really good water in the area.Be sure to stop by Musky Mikes and talk to Mike or Damon.Great guys with a wealth of info to share about the ponds, and the coolest sucker tank on the planet.I wanted to start jigging in there!!!!Thanks to all who were there in person and spirit.I know the Short Kid was smiling.(and laughing really hard at us on Saturday).More water in the boat from waves than rain. And Mo, your "Frank" fish will be fine, but somebody's gonna find that sweet jake on shore. If they only knew.(Mike was broken off by a BIG fish as we were trolling over 50' of water). And anyone in the area reading this, stop by Jolly Mons and tell Erica I said hi.HeHeHe. Steve

3 words...Alot of Fun!

Great meeting the faces behind the words. Yup it was windy, and nasty and crappy, but dam, we had a great time.

Like other's, we had our chance at the winner, which made us happy just to see and we got a nice northern. Tom (Elby) was a great partner and it was his stick that was the hot one....Tom, 2 more Dunwright's are on thier way as we speak. I also got to toss the infamous Wabull and Weagle. They're worth all the hype, great baits that move great in the water. Thanks Elby for trusting me enough to heave those pieces of gold for a while!

Jonesi....for the love of god, please please clean that boat out.....let's not even talk about the dead sucker we found in the bait well.

What a fun outing. Kly, I know you were watching over all of us, and it showed! Your laughter blew up quite the wind! Was great seeing all the guys who showed up. Was also great to fish muskies! I haven't been out since the middle of September. Sanks, thanks for a fun day on the water. You're welcome in the boat this weekend again. Congrats to Netman on the top draw. You are one lucky SOB!

Special kudos go out to Frabill, Todd, Muskie Mikes, All Bait, Frank Walsh, Indian Point, Tony Grant. Wow, you guys are the best.

Was great to see Gregger and his partner. Wow, what a voice! And Shady, Slamr, GMG, Rich, Papa Joe, Tuff Daddy, Mark H, Steve and Sue, Laser, Tuffy, PK, Plitzzzzz, and..... and Kly's family.

To Jonesi and Matt. You guys blew me away Friday night. When Steve handed me that bait, the emotions were almost too much. I've spent a lot of time thinking about Kyle, and how much fun we had, what a great kid he was, and how passionate he was in everything he did. I miss him alot, but I'll always have the memories and friends like you all.

With the help of all his friends, whether they knew him or not, this fundraiser was a huge success. The fish that will be stocked will carry on Kly's memory for many years to come. I'm sure he's proud of us all. And I'm sure he is still laughing up a storm! Can't wait for next year!
