Posts: 336 Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Hey, Just wanted to take a minute to thank all of the guys that were up at the LOTW outing. I was stuck, and you guys were the ones that convinced me to go solo regardless. PapaJoe, thanks for sharing the boat and cabin with me for all those days(I have to get your address to send you a few baits you left in the truck). Mikie and Mauser, you fellas had me on the floor laughing the entire trip....it was great to meet both of you, and I cant wait to get back out on the lake with you guys one of these days. Steve and Matt, I owe you guys big for giving me the chance at that fish the other day. Either one of you WOULD have stuck her, but you gave me my shot....I blew it, but learned a lot from just seeing that big girl. So many memories from such a short week. Sticking 7 fish was amazing, but seeing that 48 eat bait X at the boat, watching Matt's 49 follow the small tree that I snagged, and seeing that big girl rise up on that topwater and follow for 30 yards were the things that are getting played over and over again in my head. I WILL stick that big girl next year. I cant say enough about all of the guys that came up this year. It was great to meet all of you, and I'll hopefully see you all soon. Matt, MAGdawgs and suckers are coming up pretty quick here...I have a spot in the boat whenever you are in town. Have a good one. Thanks again. Lazer

Posts: 336 Location: Lino Lakes, MN | I completely forgot to thank Shep and MuskieFirst.com. Without these 2, this trip wouldnt have been possible. Thanks for getting this thing together, and sponsoring the event. Hopefully next year we get a bigger turnout and everyone is able to come up and get in on the action. Time to catch up on some sleep. G'night fellas. Lazer

Location: Athens, Ohio | Lazerdude, it was indeed a pleasure to hang out with you last week. Sorry we never got to fish together, that High Endurance Fishing Gene had me doing was pretty intense but there will be times for sure. Please check your inbox for a personal message. I was in your spot a few years back, just teetering on the edge of whether or not to invest in muskie fishing, then came the first Cass Lake outing and I was hooked for good. Keep your hooks sharp and your lines tight. m

Posts: 5874 | Lazer, Glad you had a good trip. I only wish I could have made it up there. I'll be in contact after the season with Grant, and will be setting up the 3rd Annual for next year. That one, I WILL be at. Nothing is gonna stop me next year. That lake owes me, and I'm coming to collect!

Posts: 724 Location: Southern W.Va. | The pleasure was on this end, dude, all mine. Had a blast and if your planning on making it to the "Cave" for this spring outing, you got a friend here , will do what I can to make it more fun for you. Will never forget the look on your face when that fish broke the water at the back of the boat and both of us jumped #*^@ near out of our skin, man what a look on your face ,probably looked about like mine. Looking forward to fishing with you again , so till then , keep your hooks sharp and your cast true. Mauser

Location: Athens, Ohio | I do need to send a special thanks, also, to Ranger. He made up some leaders for me that I used on the trip to catch my fish. They are still holding up well. I recommend Ranger Leaders to all who will listen! m ps - sorry for the shameless promotion! Edited by mikie 9/10/2004 2:16 PM
