What? No girth measurement? LOL
Congratulations! I've only had kids for about 3 1/2 years now, but I can tell you this, they're a thrill a minute. She's a real cutie and I trust all are well.
You are going to well up when she catches her first fish! Sometimes pride is a good thing...

Congrats Jason... She's a keeper for sure... May she grow up to sling the musky baits with you...

Just curious did you get that one on Ordway's bar? Tuff to tell from the pic...

Congrats to you and the Mrs Marine.
I have an 8 1/2 year old girl. She plays hockey. Loves to fish and can't wait to hunt. Does great in school and is fun to be around. Aside from the fact that she thinks Slamr is cool, she's a great kid. I'm glad that I have a girl.
Just today I asked her if she wanted me to paint her one lure for her first muskie fishing outing at Cass, and she said, "Sure."
"What color?", I asked.
She thought for a minute...."I got it. I want a NEMO"!
So I just got back in from painting an orange clownfish...it actually came out great.
Cheeto orange with white stripes bordered by black. Gonna be a fish catcher for sure.
Daddy's little girl will always be daddy's girl.
Taylor still calls me "Best Buddy". Make me well up sometimes.
Enjoy her. She really is a gift from God.

Congratulations!! I am a new Grandpa this year, and feel just as good about that as having my first.

Enjoy, parenting is a hoot.

Congrat's on your little "Daddy's Girl" . I'm with Beav, girls are wonderful. Love her, nurture her and hold her close to your heart. I can still remember the scent of my daughter as she slept in my arms 18 years ago.
