| I guide primarily on a number of the Kawartha Lakes in Southern Ontario, but also on several Haliburton and Huronia Lakes. (I am hoping to add a couple more lakes to my list in 2002/2003.) I have a wide mix of clients, from first-timers, to folks looking for numbers, or trophy-class Kawartha fish (over 45"). My preference is trolling, but I do some casting as well on several lakes that have the ability to produce good fish when tossing a bait. (I guide solely for muskies.) I fish out of what is likely the most unique muskie boat in Canada... possibly North America. I can handle up to 4 anglers (more than 2 is trolling only for safety reasons), and I charge by the client - be that 1 person, or 4 persons. I try to give each client a memorable, fun, and educational day regardless of the weather or the cooperation level that the muskies offer. One thing I can guarantee, is that you will see tactics with me that you have not seen with anyone else. I enjoy my role as an innovator, and I enjoy pushing the limits of traditional thinking. Easiest way to reach me is e-mail at: [email protected] My website has already been updated for 2002 and has all of my contact information. It can be viewed at: http://www3.sympatico.ca/strike.zone Steve Wickens | |||

| G & S Guide Service operates out of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. We're a multi-species service, fishing for walleye, northern pike, bass and our first love, muskies. Probably 85% of the guiding that I personally do is casting for muskies. My partners and I fish numerous lakes in Oneida, Vilas and Lincoln counties. It's actually very easy to get in touch with me. I have a website (which is in serious need of updating, if I can find the time) at http://www.herefishyfishy.com , I can be e-mailed at [email protected] or if you'd like to talk to me in person, I can be phoned at 715-362-3857, 715-362-2611 or 715-499-5021. With 2 teenage daughters still at home, I need 3 numbers to guarantee that one will be free :) If you're looking for your first muskie or searching for a "biggun", we can accomodate your wishes, having good action water and also lakes that have big fish roaming. I also build a series of custom rods, offering quality components at a reasonable price. Contact me for details on these rods. Steve | |||
