I've been using the 400TE for a couple years and so far they've been bulletproof.The only problem was this spring when after a month of 8-10 hr days on the water working the livin bejeezus out of a particular topwater bait, I had bent the handle slightly.Bent back, good as new.I love the big paddle knobs too.I used the Morrum of a buddy last week.Very nice reel but not even close to a TE.BUT,it's a buck and a 1/2 cheaper too.I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you ante up the change, you'll be very pleased with your decision.In a lot of cases, you get what you pay for.This is one of those cases.Good luck and start a fund now for the 2nd, 3rd etc..
