I sent Mike Hulbert a few emails last week as he has been posting reports on the IN lakes. He gave my
partner and I so much information about the different lakes along with at one point, finding us on the lake
and then taking us to several spots of his and told us how to fish it. We managed two small fish and action
off 11 others this weekend. We helped Mike out and took his picture with a nice 41 incher. I can't think of a
guide who makes his living taking people fishing, giving up so much info.

If you are thinking of fishing IN, Mike fishes about 170 days a year and seems to know a lot. He is also
quite funny.

Thanks for everything Mike, in such a screwed up world we live in today, it is nice to meet someone who
is just a good guy!

Along with being a good guy...He can dance too...

Check out the video of one of Mikes 50+ fish from his MN trip.

I've always believed good things happen to good people... I don't know Mike personally but from what I hear he's one of the "good guys"...

Rob,

Thanks for the kind words man, I really appreciate it.

This sport is hard enough even when you think you know whats going on. A little help can go a long ways sometimes. I treat others the way I would like to be treated if I went to a lake and didn't have much knowledge of. I was just trying to help you guys catch and locate fish easier. To many times on a short trip, you don't really have the fish figured out till the end of the 2nd or 3rd day, by then the trip is over and it's back to the city. Just trying to make your life a little easier, and you did repay the favor by taking a photo for me, I really appreciate it! And yes, on the way home I chowed those ribs down in the truck and pitched the bones out the window! EXCELLENT RIBS! Thanks for dinner!!!! ha ha!

I am glad I could help....just don't tell anybody about the secret spot on James where Miss Piggie lives!!!! ha ha ha

Now if some of that would rub off on Cady when they spend so much time together, the world would be a better place.
It's nice to help out your fellow anglers.
Way to lead by example.

BTPF,
I am unsure who you are....... Would you care to identify yourself???

I had to head back to Indiana because of a new job. Paper work, drug test, teacher work days, etc.......

Who are you?

Mike,

I havent met you but was hoping maybe you could of guided me in early September for
a day in N. Wis. I guess Im going to have to head down there.

I have heard a lot of good things about you and thought it would be cool to get a guide
who is around my age.

Mike Hulbert has done nothing for me as far as his musky fishing goes but he sure got me up to speed on 3rd grade math! Actually Mike is always helpful and a good guy to fish with.
