Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I was waiting thinking maybe Shane would like to toot his own horn but he hasn't so I will do it for him. For the second consecutive week in the Rhinelander Musky League there was a 48" fish caught. Last week it was Andy Krueger, this week Shane Boettcher. Both of these fish were personal bests for the fisherman. No need to travel to far for big skies!!! Congrats on great fish guys!!

Posts: 578 Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI | Norm, gotta agree on Rhinelander being hot. From talking with people and getting reports in, it sounds like this is the place in the state to be chasing musky. From the smaller lakes to the flowages, they are all giving up numbers of fish and like you stated, SIZE!! 2 trips out and boated 2 fish this past week and saw another dozen or so. The second trip was not even on good old reliable spots either, but just checking things out for the WMT in a couple of weeks on Boom. Moved some good fish on both trips. Good luck on Pelican, aka "The Dead Sea", this week Rhinelander Musky League fishermen/women (Can't forget about Sue and Andy's wife). Norm, hit the bay that I like and stick a couple of those piggy's in there. Chuck

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Now the Rhinelander area is COOL! High temps today in the 50's with big west winds. Should be an interesting League night!
