Jason, I have seen this happen often not only with animals but with bait fish as well especially at night, if there is a lot of bait fish / animal activity at night the muskies will be on the move also. As a matter of fact Joe Bucher had an article in Musky Hunter about this very topic awhile ago, when I get home I will look for it and let you know what issue

You bet Jason,
I have seen this correlation between fish and game for many years. If I see game moving first thing in the AM thats when I want to be on my best spots early. I remember many years ago seeing four different bucks on the way to the lake one morning and it was the best day my partner and I ever had for all around fishing, a nice limit of Smallies caught and released + a limit of Largemouth caught and released, several Pike up to a large one of 43" and three legal Muskies all in one day on the same lake.

Can anyone guess which lake in WI? remember that we drove there in the AM and I live in Western WI.

And let us not forget the "human" factor in this most fscinating question.....the more people out + about, the more chances of seeing fish...the more peering eyes out there the more activity spotted, especially if the people are swimming w/ their eyes open....[:blackeye:] [:sun:] + now to prepare for the dreaded split shift!!![:(] [:(] [:(] [:(] [:(] [:(] [:(]

Without a doubt, I've watched this for years and totally believe that when the animals/birds are active so are the fish!

I have seen just the opposite be true on occasion, on the way to go fishing I see deer everywhere! After deer hunting
(o-fer) I get the reports that the muskies were attacking the boat!

There is a coorelation between Solunar tables and fish and game movement.I fish whenever I can, but it is no small coincidence that my best days are also marked as the most active on a solunar table.
